I'm so sorry this chapter is taking forever!!!!!!! If you read my latest post on my livejournal account you will know why. You can find that here.

But I feel bad about leaving you guys hanging for so long so...I thought I'd share with you guys some little facts about the characters!

----------------------------------------

Luhan was originally going to be a a student in the Calligraphy and Confucian Studies Department but I decided to make it Law so he'd have more chances of bumping into Sehun...and because while Luhan is proud of being Chinese, he knows that studying European Law is the only way he can help his father protect the Chinese people.

I spent four hours learning about fencing (watching videos and learning jargon) to write that stupid fencing scene with Luhan and Sehun! It was worth it.

In case you didn't catch it, Yizing and Zitao's "Uncle Zhou" is Zhou Mi of Super Junior. Hangeng (former member) is also mentioned pining for (and running away with) a gisaeng based loosely off of Kim Heechul, another Super Junior member. Once an ELF, always an ELF.

Kyungsoo was originally going to teach Yizing Western medicine, but I scrapped that idea after writing one scene. Kyungsoo is a good person but it made him see way to saint-like. I don't want him to be thought of that way. Kyungsoo isn't a saint, he's just a decent human being.

Minseok and Sehun's fathers were originally only going to be mentioned in passing, but then they just kind of wrote themselves as integral characters in the plot.

Someone was going to have tuberculosis (I won't say who) but that plot was quickly scrapped as well. This is not a Korean drama--though I assure you that I would not have followed it up with amnesia or sacrificing oneself in a daring organ transplant to save a loved one. Even I have limits.

Baekhyun was not going to be integral to the plot at all in the beginning. He was going to be singer/actor at the Theatre in Hanseong. I kept his love for music but moved him further into the plot to add depth to his character. After all, Chanyeol never would have met him otherwise--he isn't really the type to go to theatres, right?

The entire idea behind this story is based off of a RP a friend and I did that involved steampunk and zombies in London.

And this story itself goes alongside my novel that I am currently writing of the happenings in London at the same time. Some characters will be mentioned, such as a Dr. Boulstridge and his former "Korean apprentice" and the much despised Lord Bruce. I thought to write this story to bring to light characters I enjoyed and had thought of using in the larger world, and also to see how people would react to and enjoy the plot. Whole most of them wont appear alongside the main story line, aspects of this story and its characters will.

And I can't give you guys anything else without spoilers. XD

Enjoy.
